At Lavis Contracting Co. Ltd, we are looking to hire equipment operators for various positions/crews (Milling Machine, Roller, Excavator, Loader). Lavis is a leader in the construction industry. **Responsibilities**:

- Ability to operate equipment in an effective and safe manner.
- Follow safety precautions, procedures, and policies.
- Perform daily service and preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Operate equipment in a safe manner and be willing to comply with Lavis’ safety commitments.
- Ability to perform physical labour in all weather conditions.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of a valid Ontario G driver’s licence is required.
- Working near/on construction sites.
- Experience operating construction equipment.
- Daily exposure to construction environment.
- Mechanically inclined will be considered an asset.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs/23kg.
- Previous construction experience will be considered an asset.
- Ability to perform effective verbal and written instructions.
- Flexible hours required to meet project timelines.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 8 months
