We are seeking an experienced nanny to care for a 2-year-old child for a one-month period, from June 3 to July 7, 2025.
**Wage($)**: $25-$35/ hr based on experience
**Hours per week**: 40-60
**Days Off**: Monday or Tuesday
**Service Address**: Calgary AB, near Spruce Meadows
**Overview**
**Duties**
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, catering to any dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up after activities and meal times.
- Provide care for children with varying needs, including those with working persons disabilities.
- Assist with homework and educational activities to foster learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and daily activities.
- Ensure the safety of children at all times, both indoors and outdoors.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience caring for children in a babysitting or nanny capacity is preferred.
- Strong caregiving skills, with the ability to connect with children of different ages.
- Knowledge of meal preparation and cooking healthy meals for children.
- Ability to educate children through play, structured activities, and creative engagement.
- Patience, reliability, and a positive attitude are essential traits for this role.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by the family.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
