We are looking for a **Maintenance Technician (Overhead Cranes & Motors)** for our client in Acton, ON

**Responsibilities**:

- Diagnose and repair **overhead cranes and overhead hoists** to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair **motors, pumps, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems**.
- Perform **preventative maintenance** to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Read and interpret **blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals** to assist with repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Conduct **safety inspections** and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate **maintenance records and reports**.
- Work collaboratively with the team to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum **3+ years of experience** in maintenance, with a focus on **overhead cranes, hoists, motors, and pumps**.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and understand **technical drawings and schematics**.
- Experience working with **hydraulic and pneumatic systems** is a plus.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Comfortable working at heights and in industrial environments.

**Shift**:Afternoon Shift

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $34.76 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

- Acton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Maintenance Technician: 3 years (required)
- diagnosing and repairing overhead cranes and overhead hoists: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Trade Certificate (preferred)
