Oak Island Resort & Conference Centre has an immediate opening for a **Host/Hostess **If you are a motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has great communication skills, we want you Experience is an asset but not required, we will work with you to ensure you have all the training necessary to be a great host/hostess.

**What You Will Do**:

- Welcome each guest with a smile and friendly greeting
- Let your friendly personality shine and provide great customer service for guests
- Answer phone calls, deal with guest inquiries and take reservations
- Help customers with orders by explaining dishes and drinks, making recommendations as appropriate
- Coordinate food orders to guarantee efficient guest service, and deliver orders from the kitchen to guest tables
- Periodically check on guests to promptly handle any issues, and refill water
- Clean and reset tables
- Any additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor

**What You Need to Succeed**:

- Great communication and organizational skills

- Able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Food & Beverage Server Designation an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $13.50 per hour

**Experience**:

- Hospitality/Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
