St Catharines, Canada Spectacle Clinic Full time

Spectacle Clinic is seeking an independent Optometrist to join our team on a contractor basis. The Optometrist will be responsible for providing excellent eye care to our patients, ensuring that their vision and eye health are maintained to the highest standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform comprehensive eye exams and provide accurate diagnoses of visual conditions.
- Prescribe corrective lenses, medications, or other appropriate treatments.
- Communicate effectively with patients, ensuring that they understand their diagnosis and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate patient records and reports, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.

Equipment:

- Retinal Camera
- Paperless EMR System
- Autorefractor
- Visual Field (At Niagara Falls location)

We Provide Staff Reception for:

- Telus Billing and other insurance providers
- Auto Refractor
- Check-in Process
- Lensometry
- Payment Collecting
- Organizing End of Day Reports

Qualifications:

- Must be a licensed Optometrist in Ontario.
- Possess excellent clinical skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients about their diagnosis and treatment options.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor with patients and staff.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 8 per week
