**Overview**:
Full Time (Hourly)

Oversee production areas / lines in the bakery production area. Ensure the workflow goes smoothly and efficiently by monitoring how employees organize their workflow and report directly to the Manufacturing Manager. Collaborate closely with production staff through effective communication, hands-on demonstrations, and proactive on-the-job training, fostering a dynamic and supportive working environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Participate in a comprehensive training program to develop a deep understanding of pastry production process, company standards, and safety protocols.
- Supervise, instruct, motivate and communicate with the staff on an going basis.
- Learn to supervise and lead a team of production staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Ensure production efficiencies are achieved and improve as necessary.
- Monitor production processes to ensure that product specifications are met.
- Assist in overseeing day-to-day production activities, ensuring that production efficiencies are met with a high level of quality.
- Learn to control quality control checks on products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Develop effective communication skills to interact with team members, managers and other departments.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant education in pastry or production management is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 40 per week
