We are currently looking to fill two shifts (morning and afternoon).

**Summary of Position**

The QC Inspector is responsible for a variety of quality control measures implemented at Sunrise Kitchens. Using Sunrise Kitchens’ Workmanship Standards as a reference, the QC Inspector samples and reviews material, processed parts, assembled products, and truck loading to ensure these meet expectations.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

1. Services in production
- Rush service
- Batch service
- Sample doors

2. In-process (station) Inspection
- Perform necessary Quality Control inspections
- Inspect parts and products through the various stations to ensure they meet the requirements.
- Provide feedback to the production team about quality issues detected to facilitate improvement.

3. First Article Inspection (FAI)
- Schedule FAI inspection with the production team
- Perform First Article Inspection for new projects.

4. Incoming Inspection
- Perform incoming inspection for raw materials
- Provide feedback to the Supply Chain department on any quality issues detected.
- Perform New sheet measurement
- Fill out the sheet measure form and hand out the form to the Engineering

5. Workmanship Standards
- Use Workmanship Standards to ensure consistent outcomes of parts and products being processed
- Provide feedback to the QA Manager on Sunrise’s Workmanship Standards for updating and editing

6. Inspection Data
- Fill out the required forms for the various inspections performed
- Collect data from other departments that need to be entered into the relevant systems
- Ensure timely reporting of issues observed from data collected.

**Employment Requirements**
- Post-secondary school education in any of the sciences preferred
- Can legally work in Canada
- Proficient in English, written and verbal
- Minimum five years experience as a manufacturing environment
- Minimum one year experience as an inspector or member of Quality Department.

**Skills and Experience**
- Comfortable working in a labor-intensive manufacturing environment
- General understanding of LEAN concepts
- General understanding of Quality concepts and ISO9001 Standards
- Experience in data collection
- General software experience using MS Office preferred but not required.
