**Scope of Responsibility**:
1.
- Create and confirm planned orders, reviewing pricing, availability, and ETAs.
- Monitor product order points and stocking levels for optimal inventory management.

- Add, remove, and update items in the product catalogue.
- Manage pricing and product lifecycles adjustments as needed.

- Negotiate product rebates, discounts, and terms with suppliers to maximize profitability.
- Develop and implement a standard negotiating handbook for consistent practices.

4.
- Set and review stocking levels based on product performance and demand.
- Utilize standard calculations to evaluate product turns and performance metrics.
- Implement and manage order points in D365.
- Identify products requiring ordering and adjust inventory adhering to stocking profile.

5.
- Collaborate with suppliers to forecast future orders and inventory needs.
- Align forecasting efforts with inventory management strategies.

6.
- Plan and execute advanced sales and promotional strategies.
- Develop a comprehensive sales/promotional calendar and collaborate with suppliers for promotional partnerships.
- Identify opportunity buys for sales/promotions.

- Coordinate information and timelines for new product launches across retail, marketing, and online platforms.
- Ensure accurate and timely communication for new product arrivals.

- Efficient catalogue maintenance and pricing strategies.

- Accurate forecasting and seasonal order point implementation.
- Strategic sales and promotional planning with improved supplier relations.
- Timely and successful product launches with effective communication.
- Data-driven insights and analysis to enhance product performance.

**Qualifications**:

- Superior knowledge of musical instruments and industry trends.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Strong general technology skills and Microsoft Office suite.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP functions.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across departments.

The Buyer role at Cosmo Music offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success and growth of the business through strategic procurement, inventory management, and supplier relations.

Salary range: CAD $47,500 to $52,500

**Work mode**: In-person for the first 90 days, followed by potential hybrid work arrangement.
