Construction Foreman

Westgate Landworks Inc., specializes in delivering high-quality outdoor contracting services to clients across the industrial and commercial sectors. Our range of services is designed to cater to all exterior property needs, including landscaping, aquatic planting, fencing, irrigation, exterior masonry, paving, sodding, and grading.

We are looking for creative and hard-working individuals to join our team of skilled construction foreman. Must be willing to be responsible for performing a variety of required foreman work tasks to assist with the completion of hard and softscape projects.

Core Skills & Responsibilities Include:

- Ensuring everything on-site goes accordingly to plan for each project of hard and softscape construction projects alongside other Team Members
- Demonstrates knowledge of plant material, hard material, and landscape practices
- Ability to understand drawings and other necessary site documents
- Ordering materials, supplies and equipment & preparing daily site reports
- Ability to travel to multiple site locations to meet the needs of the business
- Valid G Driver's License, with a clean drivers abstract (able to pull trailer)
- Assist with loading and unloading tools and products into work trucks
- Experience with operation of a skid steer & excavator
- Keep trailer, vehicles, and construction area neat and organised
- Must be able to work under little supervision & have confidence to thrive under pressure
- Reliable, punctual, responsible, and Strong leadership skills
- Willingness to teach and learn from others
- Creative, self-motivated, able to follow direction and a team player & leader
- Must be flexible in work schedule and, willingness to work outdoors in ever changing weather conditions
- Ability to withstand some repetitive physical work (kneeling, bending, lifting)
- Perform physical labour including heavy lifting to execute all elements of each project
- Ability to lift 30-50lbs
- Working At Heights, First Aid Trained & Certified - an asset
- Basic computer skills
- Comply with company safety policy, procedure, and practices

**Summary**

As a Construction Foreman, you will oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time and up to all job standards. Reporting to the Project Manager, your leadership will guide a team in executing plans while maintaining high standards of quality control and safety.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Seasonal

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
