**Job description**

Justin Gray Homes is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Carpenter to join our growing residential construction team.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

Include, but are not limited to:

- Supervising the build and operations of every custom home project to meet schedule and budget requirements
- Reporting to and providing day-to-day support to the Site Superintendent
- Ensuring quality control throughout all stages of construction as it relates to our Better Build standards
- Maintaining site cleanliness both interior and exterior, including signage and walkways (as it pertains to seasonal weather)
- Completing minor repair work as needed
- Adhering to the safety program, including completing site and hazard assessments
- Communicating with trade partners and office staff

**Experience and Qualifications**
- Journeyman Carpenterticket at minimum
- Experience in residential construction preferred
- Carpentry experience in using power tools is an asset
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated
- Problem solving skills to think quickly and adapt to change
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Personal hand tools required
- Personal PPE including hard hat, steel toe boots, etc. required
- Drivers license and personal vehicle required for transportation and hauling goods when needed
- Ability to lift approximately 50lbs

**About the Position**:

- Full-time, permanent role located in Edmonton, Alberta
- Hours: 7:30AM to 4:30PM, Monday to Friday
