Invest Nova Scotia is Nova Scotia's business development agency that works to promote economic growth and community economic development in the province by enabling business, innovation, sustainability and entrepreneurship. We are Nova Scotians supporting businesses small and large; new and new to our province.
Start-ups are a key focus area for Invest Nova Scotia, and we support them through venture capital, incubation facilities, expert advice, and other acceleration initiatives.
We're especially interested in deep technology start-ups, which we define as those based on a scientific discovery, new engineering innovation, or IT that is not focused on end-user services. Target sectors include clean technology (i.e., low-carbon products and processes for all sectors), life sciences (e.g., medical devices, digital health, therapeutics), information technology, and ocean technology.

Invest Nova Scotia is seeking an analytical, results-oriented, and motivated individual for the role of Investment Analyst.
If you are a business-minded, intellectually curious person whose knowledge of deep technology and passion for entrepreneurship can help evaluate and support start-ups, we would love to hear from you.
Under the direction of the Investment Principal, the Investment Analyst supports the investment team in all aspects of evaluating companies, closing investments, and accelerating the growth of portfolio companies.
