We are searching for a highly motivated, technology advanced pattern maker to join our fabric cutting production team. They will be responsible for developing patterns from our Designer drawings, plotting, and digitizing patterns for production cutting. This person will operate the Gerber cutting machine an software for cutting operations of patterns and production soft seating items. **Responsibilities**
- Digitize all patterns into software.
- Create patterns on software, plot, check pattern to ensure accuracy, and create file for production nesting.
- Nest all patterns, and run Gerber machine for large quantity production.
- Provide forward-thinking and knowledge to cutting department to further advance use of technology and increase production speed.
- Experience operating the Gerber or Lectra system is an asset.
- Must be able to use CAD software to make markers.

Additional training will be provided by Gerber training staff.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Fashion Design Diploma.
- 3+ years of experience in pattern making or post secondary education
- Strong attention to details.
- Neat and meticulous.
- Forward thinking with a passion to advance production efficiency in fabric cutting.

**Salary**: $19.50-$29.00 per hour
