**Position Description**:
The incumbent will perform technical support duties relating to facility management activities for Norfolk County facilities. Related tasks include, but are not limited to:

- Assist Gas Technicians in various HVAC maintenance and installation duties
- Assist Technicians with on-going building maintenance
- Assist in the collection and organization of facility data and facility drawings
- Assist with HVAC and building engineering tasks
- Assist with the management of facilities capital construction projects
- Assist with the collection, analysis and monitoring of energy data
- Assist with the analysis of energy and sustainability projects
- Assist with the corporate energy conservation awareness program
- Assist with facility component inventory and data organization
- Assist with annual energy reporting

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:

- University or College student enrolled in mechanical/electrical engineering, architecture, or gas technician or facilities management course (or related field)
- Valid Class G2 Driver’s License
- Must be able to operate a pickup truck, small equipment, and power and hand tools
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Good time management, interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in general operation of office equipment, i.e. computer, photocopier, etc.

**Note**:
Employment is conditional upon: attendance at all training sessions, submission of required documentation/certification, adherence to the minimum age requirements and ability to meet the employment term.

Applicants must submit a criminal record check (dated within the last 3 months) from their local police service for approval prior to commencing employment.

The duration of this contract will be approximately 4 months. Applicants are expected to fulfill the entire contract period commencing April 30, 2025 until August 29, 2025.
