JC Green is looking to fill the position of **Processing Technician**, who, under the direction of the **Operations Manager**, will be primarily responsible for packaging, processing and sanitation tasks at our facility located in Thorndale, ON.

**Job Duties**
- Hand-package dried cannabis and cannabis extracts; complete inspections on materials and finished products, label and fill containers
- Bulk process dried cannabis (debudding, hand trimming, milling, sorting) and complete quality checks as directed
- Maintain accurate documentation for production tasks such as weighing product, quality checks, sanitation and destruction
- Assist in cultivation activities such as pruning, transplanting, weighing and hanging harvested plants as well as any other cultivation tasks required by management
- Complete all housekeeping and sanitation tasks including sweeping, mopping, cleaning equipment, and disinfecting work surfaces
- Comply with all hygiene and bio-security requirements
- All other duties as assigned

**Job Requirements**
- Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Strong attention to detail
- High level of integrity and work ethic
- Clean criminal record check; Health Canada Security Clearance an asset
- Ability to commute to a rural location
- Knowledge of Health Canada Cannabis Regulations and GPP/GMP requirements an asset
- Cannabis trimming and/or manufacturing related experience (preferred)

**Work Conditions**
- Flexible hours which may include afternoons, weekends, and holidays
- Repetitive work
- Lifting, moving, or manipulating objects up to 50 lbs

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
