**Who is Old Yale Brewing?**
Old Yale Brewing is thrilled to announce the opening of our third location in Beaumont, Alberta This 11,000 sq ft, 400-seat Craft Brewery + Kitchen will feature a brand-new 7.5-hectoliter brewery, 3 patios, 20 beers on tap, plus a selection of wine, cider, and cocktails.
With this exciting expansion, we're looking for **Line Cooks** to join Team OYB and play a key role in preparing for our grand opening
The Line Cook’s principal goal will be to prepare high-quality meals that meet the Head Chef’s exact specifications. The Line cook will work both independently and with the extended Kitchen Team to set up the prep station, stock inventory and maintain sanitation standards. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment and strong multi-tasking skills. The Line Cook plays an essential role in contributing to our customer experience and company growth.
**Responsibilities**:
+ Prepare and cook all menu items in accordance with kitchen and brand standards.
+ Assist in stocking and maintaining sufficient levels of food on the line
+ Conduct food preparation and portioning prior to service.
+ Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
+ Follow and execute closing routines.
+ Adhere to all health and food sanitation standards in accordance with Old Yale Brewing's safe food handling practices and Alberta protection standards.
+ Ensure a high level of food quality.
+ Organize and store bulk food orders neatly.
+ Roll up your sleeves and do what’s necessary to get the job done and completes other duties as required within the same scope and level.

**Qualifications**:
+ Proven cooking experience, including experiences as a Line or Prep Cook.
+ Have a love and passion for great food and outstanding craft beer along with the ability to work in a team environment.
+ Valid Food Safety Certification is an asset.
+ Comprehensive understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, procedures, and equipment.
+ Ability to adapt quickly to fast-paced environments and accurately execute assigned tasks.
+ Ability to read and follow recipes.
+ Ability to lift 60lbs and stand for long periods of time.
+ Flexible, dependable and dedicated.
