**Position: LASER TECHNICIAN / COSMETIC ASSISTANT**

**Position Summary**:
We are looking for a laser technician/cosmetic assistant to join our wonderful team

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist physician with cosmetic duties/treatments
- Quote patients for laser and cosmetic services
- Maintain appropriate safety standards
- Prepare treatment rooms - keep tidy, organized, and stocked
- Greet and check in patients in a helpful, respectful, and efficient manner
- Prep and escort patients to treatment rooms
- Schedule and confirm cosmetic and laser appointments
- Manage and handle private payments
- Take consistent before and after photos
- Explain, help to complete, and answer questions about consent forms
- Answer questions and provide post care instructions
- Keep up to date with the information about the medical grade skin care products and the cosmetic services we offer in clinic
- Keep track of relevant product inventory pertaining to job
- Follow clinic policies and procedures
- Keep up to date detailed clinical notes
- Participate in cosmetic team meetings
- Keep patient information confidential and secure at all times
- Perform all other related clinical, administrative tasks or special tasks as required by clinic management
- Work collaborativley with the cosmetic team
- Assist on our social media and marketing strategy

**Requirements**:

- Laser technician certificate from a recognized aesthetics program
- Experience performing Laser genesis, vascular laser, micro-needling (training available when necessary)
- Passion for medical aesthetics
- Strong understanding of of skin, skin health, and medical grade skin care products
- Exceptional customer service skills and warm personality
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and fluent in English
- Attention to detail and the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Ability to analyze, problem-solve, and take initiative
- Open, positive, and accountable
- Ability to work full time hours 5 days per week (Monday-Friday)
- Experience with an EMR system (Accuro) is an asset
- Well groomed and presentable
- Excellent sales techniques
- Experience with social media platforms and marketing an asset

**Salary**: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
