Vineland, Canada Creekside Excavation Full time

**Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator**

**General Duties**:

- Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, dozers, and rollers.
- Perform operations, such as structural demolition, excavating, grading, stockpiling, and backfilling, ensuring maximum productivity and high-quality work.
- Maneuver heavy equipment to ensure the accurate removal and placement of materials.
- Assist in placing manholes, catch basins etc. as well as install PVC and Concrete pipe.
- Perform routine inspection and minor maintenance on vehicles/heavy equipment such as checking oil, grease, fluid levels, and tires/tracks.
- Operate and remove attachments (buckets, sheers, grapples, and breakers)
- Complete required paperwork including daily equipment checklists, accident or incident reports, and time sheets.
- Assist in manual site work as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in the safe and efficient operation of various types of heavy equipment; loading and moving aggregates and soils/ Experience in demolition.
- Working knowledge with reading plans and understanding of grades.
- Must be willing to work extended hours during busy season.
- Experience using 2D Next Gen Cat grade control and 3D Trimble auto grade systems and asset.
- AZ/AR License to pull float trailers to deliver equipment an asset.
- Experience in sewer and watermain construction an asset

**Compensation**:

- Competitive wage based on experience, starting at $24.00/hr.
- Overtime after 44 hours per week
- Benefits allowance

**Schedule**:

- Full time, permanent
- 6:30AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday
- Hours may vary.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $26.00 per hour
