We are a rapidly expanding Safety Equipment company which specializes in Gas Detection and Safety Supplies across Canada. We are looking for mature individuals with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently in a professional, fast-paced environment to join our team.

We're looking for a new team member for the Shipper/Receiver position at our Red Deer branch.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Creating and evaluating shipping relevant documents both computerized and handwritten to the best standard.
- Maintaining weekly transfers and communication of inventory movement between branches.
- Shipping and receiving inventory into database as well as physically into correct warehouse locations.
- Shipping and receiving customer owned equipment.
- Regular cycle counts and reconciliation processes to regularly maintain companywide inventory to the best standard.
- Overseeing relevant shipping documents to ensure accuracy, and how to provide necessary edits to ensure proper procedure is followed.
- Data entry of parts incoming and outgoing specific to customized inventory system.
- Maintain daily records of inventory movements and provide tracking of shipments.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment of the warehouse.
- Cross training to assist in service and sales departments.
- Availability to do pick-ups as well as deliveries within the region of the shop.
- Ability to answer phones and direct calls or answer customer-based questions.
- Ability to communicate with team members in order to achieve common goals of success and efficiency.

**Qualifications**:

- Preferably 1-2 years of experience working in a shipping department or similar role, but willing to train the right person.
- Maintain professionalism while dealing with customers, team members, and management.
- Valid driver’s license and/or certification to operate a forklift or other machinery in the warehouse.
- Have clerical knowledge or experience.
- Superior time management and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: $3,600.00-$4,000.00 per month
