We are actively searching for a **Reception/Animal Care Assistant (ACA) **to join our Sheridan Veterinary family We are an established, progressive practice located in the heart of Pickering. We take pride in our low-stress, loving care for all patients and boarders. ACA responsibilities include triage, some reception duties, clinic upkeep, boarding animal care, restraint for procedures and surgical setup. The ACA’s work very closely with our hard-working technicians and veterinarians, allowing them to gain a significant amount of hand-on experience.

We are seeking a hard-working, fun-loving, motivated team member with excellent communication skills and a desire to offer the best client/patient care We offer flexible scheduling and GENEROUS veterinary and pet supply discounts.

Previous veterinary experience is required.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $15.00-$18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Pickering, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
