Skilled4Success Program Description
Generously supported by Employment and Social Development Canada's Youth Employment Skills Strategies Program, S4S is supporting BGC Brantford to directly employ youth aged 15 - 30 years who face multiple barriers to employment.
The program goal is to support youth in developing employment skills. Employed youth will be engaged at the Club for 10 weeks of part-time employment (20 hours per week) with a combination of training and direct service. Utilizing existing resources such as the Skilled4Success Program and BGC Canada's E-Learning platform, participating youth will access employment, skills training, and job readiness supports, job shadowing opportunities and mentorship.
Program Outline
- 2 weeks (20 hours) of Employment Skills Training
- 8 weeks (15 hours per week) of quality employment, combined with an additional 5 hours per week of training
- Training and completion bonus's
We are currently seeking eligible youth who are interested in experiencing the role of Summer Camp Assistant Leader.
COVID-19 considerations:
Strict adherence to Infection Control Policies and Best Practices All employees of BGC Brantford must be fully vaccinated (minimum 2 doses) against the COVID-19 virus or have a medical/religious exemption that is acceptable and approved by BGC Brantford.

Contract length: 10 weeks
**Salary**: $15.00 per hour
