Sarnia, Canada AlumaPower Full time

Do you want to be part of a revolutionary new company developing products based on a patented technology that can reduce society’s reliance on fossil fuels by creating a new kind of clean fuel?

AlumaPower’s breakthrough technology re-invents the aluminum-air battery as a ‘galvanic engine’ - an innovative long-life energy source that runs on recycled aluminum as a fuel. It produces only water vapour and heat as emitted by-products, while providing at least 4 times the energy density of lithium-ion batteries.

AlumaPower’s patented technology will introduce recycled or ‘clean’ aluminum as a fuel source displacing hydrocarbons and complementing other battery solutions such as lithium-ion.

You will be an experienced practitioner of key supply chain management elements including, procurement, logistics, inventory management and planning. You have exceptional organizational skills and have built processes to track and communicate the status of transactions throughout the supply chain.

You will have worked closely with brokers, logistics, and warehousing partners to facilitate the efficient flow of goods across international borders and maintained the necessary documentation to ensure full jurisdictional compliance. You have had oversight of vendor selection and managed, in-full or in-part, the purchasing process from requisition to goods receipt. Your previous exposure to a formalized inventory management system will be an asset and you will have the ability to identify key inventory items and implement process controls for inventory quantity management.

As a member of the Product Launch team and supporting the AlumaPower organization in executing the supply and dispatch of materials, you will work closely with various department managers to develop transparency and process efficiency. Regular interaction with the vendor base is expected, ensuring positive vendor relationships and timely corrective actions.

You will take a hands-on approach in developing systems, tools, and controls. Your ability to conceptualize future system states will be critical to planning the development of the supply chain model and identifying the sequential steps to be taken to achieve that end state.

You will work on controlling and developing operational reporting tools that convey insightful information and detail performance against established KPIs.

Above all, you will be wishing to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment and have a hunger to grow personally within the company.
