**Position Summary**

The Laborer is an integral part of an effective construction team. Our Construction crews work to successfully complete projects according to approved plans, specifications and applicable codes while maintaining a standard of high quality and with a “Safety First” mindset. The Laborer is responsible to work safely and effectively through the direction of the on-site supervisor.

**Responsibilities**
- Perform manual laborer in the support of the construction project.
- Perform daily equipment inspections for light duty pick up, document any defects or concerns and advise supervisor or direct report.
- Preform work in a safe and responsible manner.
- Advise the supervisor of any requirements for maintenance or repair.
- Participate in routine fueling.
- Practice workplace safety.
- May perform other related duties as required.

**Qualifications**
- Adhere to Landmark's Health, Safety, & Environmental reporting and standards.
- Previous experience in the construction of earthworks an asset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a construction environment or in a similar role.
- Familiar with construction terms and practices.
- Effective verbal and listening communication skills.
- Must be able to follow instructions.
- Ability to understand and effectively execute verbal and written directions.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and provide a drivers abstract.
- Physically fit to preform manual work.
- Strong understanding of English, both written and verbal.
- Equipment experience would be considered and asset.

**Shift**
- 15days on 6days off
- Paid travel to Jasper
- Camp/meals provided
