Carry out preventative maintenance and repair duties at the hotel to ensure safety and comfort of hotel guests and guest ambassadors with compliance to brand standards and local regulatory requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Repair or replace items such as but not limited to light bulbs, lamps, switches, outlets, faucets, toilets, hardware, filters, paint, furniture, wall coverings, caulking, grouting, or other miscellaneous items
- Makes record of repairs made, or areas needing further attention
- Maintain proper preventative maintenance documentation per IHG brand mandate
- Maintain inventory of supplies needed to perform job function
- Reports major repairs and items that cannot be repaired to the dispatcher for further action and if necessary, communicate with front office to place a room out of order
- May be required to do other duties and special projects as assigned by management
- Inspect guest rooms, public spaces, and back of house for areas to repair, touch up, or replace
- Ensure exterior parking lot and drive ways are free of debris and hazard, including ice and snow
- Maintain pool temperature and inspect pool chemical level must have pool certification
- Maintain all HVAC and PTAC units
- To help banquet banquet set up when needed.

Job Requirement
- High School Graduate, other trades or vocational education certificate/degree highly preferred
- Current working knowledge of general maintenance and engineering work
- Experience in the Maintenance Department of a hotel, and/or restaurant complex a definite asset
- Strong work ethic
- Basic computer / cellular apps knowledge
- A passion for delivering great customer service
- Ability to work without close supervision and within established timeframes
- Must have basic experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical
- Strong written and verbal communication in English
- Valid Driver's License with clean driving record as you will be driving the shuttle to pick up and drop off guests to the airport.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.00-$24.00 per hour
