The Finance Applications Lead - Workday possesses a broad understanding of cross-functional touchpoints and their impacts within the Workday system to effectively develop solutions to complex problems and projects across multiple modules. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring overall user alignment, identifying and resolution of interdependencies, proposing appropriate solutions and executing various project tasks.

**What does your typical day look like?**
- Provide direct hands-on support and troubleshooting across Workday modules, ensuring timely resolution of issues and seamless system performance;
- Lead multiple and complex Workday projects including the design, configuration, testing, and implement business requirements across multiple Workday Financial modules;
- Support the Director, Applications - Finance to present strategies to the CFO and Finance leaders (roadmap, risks, implementations, etc.);
- Prioritize daily team actions, special projects and manage resources to achieve maximum efficiency and improved client service;
- Mentor, coach and direct other Finance employees/Workday support team members;
- Etc.

**What skills and training do you need?**
- University degree in the technology or accounting field;
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting or accounting software development/implementation;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience leading and deploying Workday implementations or supporting Workday Post-Production;
- Minimum of 1 year of experience leading and deploying Workday Adaptive and Workday HCM.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in French and in English;
- Strong understanding of financial products and system architectures, including accounting business procedures and financial reporting;
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
