Employee Experience Specialist Overview Reporting to the Sr. Manager Employee Experience, the Employee Experience (Ex) Specialist, provides support for people-focused systems, programs, and processes to the Human Resources (HR) team, our people leaders, and employees. The Ex Specialist collaborates directly with the Information Technology (IT) team to continuously improve and refine our HR systems. Role Specific Responsibilities - Support the development, maintenance, and continuous evolution of employee experience initiatives that focus on how we attract, retain, motivate, and engage employees throughout the employee lifecycle - Accountable for HR systems; providing support, collaboration, and communication to HR and stakeholders - Liaise with the IT team to maximize the utilization and potential of HR systems - Evaluate business needs for improvements to existing or introduction of new programs within the larger context of employee experience - Collaborate with centers of excellence (COEs) and stakeholders to ensure a coherent orchestration of People Experience programs across the company - Direct support of sustainment activities for critical people programs: recognition, wellness, engagement surveys, and performance feedback, to ensure client understanding, adoption, and use of programs - Work closely with HR and Shared Services to identify improvements in processes related to employee services. - Ensure a seamless employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle (onboarding, milestones, engagement, offboarding, etc.) - Identify leading trends for designing employee-focused programs across all HR disciplines and prioritize industry best practices - Conduct frequent analyses of data from various points in the employee lifecycle (onboarding, stay-interviews, annual surveys, exit) to identify trends with the goal of improving employee experience and retention across the company - Conducts sensitive and complex diversity data analysis and creates reports and presentations to enable action planning and measure the impact of initiatives - Support the administration of the company’s Diversity & Inclusion Council and Employee Resource Groups Education and Experience - Post-secondary education with a focus on Human Resource Management, Organization Development, or another relevant field. - 3-5 years of professional experience in either HR, project management, communications, or a relevant field - Demonstrated experience leading change initiatives, management coaching, and performance improvement training - Extremely organized with the ability to handle a high workload in a fast-paced and challenging environment - Experience with coaching and training would be an asset - Have a deep, technical understanding of people data structure, business processes, and policies - Maintains current knowledge of practices, theories, and research in DEI. - Core Competencies - Initiative - Organization Skills - Teamwork - Written and Oral Communication - Friendly and Client Focused - What You Bring to Us - Positive, friendly attitude. - Flexibility and adaptability to frequently changing priorities and deadlines. - Team player with excellent communication skills - Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy - Equally comfortable working independently with mínimal supervision, or as part of a team - Ability to exhibit discretion in handling confidential/sensitive information. - Advanced computer skills and above-average proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Experience using Dayforce, an LMS, SharePoint, PowerBI, Visio an asset - “We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.”_ - "Here at Superior Propane we are an equal opportunity employer committed to the inclusion and accommodation of all individuals.
