Chris Delia Stables is currently hiring a part-time stable hand at our competitive A Circuit show barn located in Burlington. Duties include but are not limited to: blanketing, feeding, turn in/out, bandaging, stall cleaning, general tidying and general horse care both at the home farm and at competitions. Very relaxed work environment, friendly clients, world class horses. Must have some horse experience, a positive attitude, a love of horses, and a desire to learn. Good work ethic and dependability are essential. Must have reliable transportation and preferably live within thirty minutes of the barn. This position is mostly on weekends, however, there may be additional weekdays available as well. Hours are typically 7am-4pm with a 1hr lunch break but may vary during competitions.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From $130.00 per day

- Re Stall cleaning - How experienced are you with mucking horse stalls? For a 12X12 box stall, how long does it take you to clean and spread new shavings in total per stall on average? How many stalls are you capable of cleaning within a 2.5 hour period without breaks?
- On a scale from 1-5, how comfortable are you with physical labour/farm work? Any additional comments on this issue?
- On a scale of 1 - 5, how confident are you handling horses? Please briefly explain a bit of your experience with handling horses.
- How well do you work with others and take direction from more senior co-workers?
