Youth Support Worker

Infinity Lodge is an independent living program for youth aged 15-21.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide guidance and support to young people
- Develop and maintain relationships with young people, their families, and other professionals
- Develop and implement programs to meet the needs of young people
- Provide information and advice to young people on issues such as education, health, housing, employment, and social activities
- Identify any issues or problems that may arise and take appropriate action to resolve them
- Work with other professionals such as social workers, teachers, and health professionals to ensure the best outcomes for young people
**Duties**:
- Plan and implement educational programs and activities for youth
- Create a safe and supportive environment for youth to learn and grow
- Provide guidance and support to youth in their personal and academic development
- Collaborate with other staff members to develop and implement program goals
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of youth participants
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, behaviour, and program activities
- Driving youth to and from appointments
**Experience**:
- Previous experience working with youth in an educational or mentoring capacity
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in youth education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences for youth
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting the growth and development of young people
