Arborist Foreman

**Job Overview**

We are hiring a **skilled and safety-focused Arborist Foreman** to lead a crew of 3-4 workers on residential and commercial tree care projects. This role is ideal for someone with strong climbing and bucket truck experience who is confident running a crew and keeping safety at the forefront.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead daily jobsite operations and supervise a small crew
- Operate and maintain bucket trucks, chainsaws, and climbing equipment
- Perform tree removals, pruning, and rigging work
- Conduct safety briefings and ensure all team members follow protocols
- Coordinate with the office on job logistics and timelines
- Ensure job sites are clean and professionally maintained
- Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to crew members

**Requirements**:

- Valid **DZ license**:

- Strong **climbing experience** (spikes, saddle, rigging)
- Comfortable **operating a bucket truck**:

- Experience **leading a crew** on active job sites
- Training or certification in:

- Chainsaw safety
- Working at Heights
- Forklift operation (an asset)
- Must prioritize **safety at all times**:

- Own reliable **vehicle to get to the yard** daily
- Physically fit and comfortable working in various weather conditions

**Nice to Have (Not Required)**
- ISA Certification or Arborist License
- First Aid/CPR
- Experience with crane-assisted removals

**What to Expect**
- Start times vary depending on the job site (usually between 6-7 AM)
- Occasional early departures for jobs outside the city
- Year-round, full-time position
- Opportunities for overtime and advancement

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
