THE OPPORTUNITY

With exciting new opportunities and partnerships, Impact is seeking an **Electrical Apprentice,** to join our Commercial Projects Team, based out of our Saskatoon or Rosetown, SKlocations. The Apprentice will provide support and assistance to our Journeypersons, while learning and developing your skills as you work towards gaining your Journeypersons Certification; and **be willing to work on the road**. The shift will vary depending on the project.

Our team would love to hear from you if you have:

- Actively indentured with the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission
- Have experience working the electrical trade
- A willingness to learn new skills
- Eagerness to be great and grow
- Valid and clean class 5 drivers license, endorsements are an asset
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Willing to work away from home for periods of time
- A safety advocate

**THE WORK**

Well, we do a lot of things Oil & Gas, Mining, Agriculture, Commercial, but today we are focusing on Commercial and Light Industrial Projects. Here we go
- New construction and retrofit projects
- Pulling wire and assisting with terminating wire
- Assisting with the installation of switchgear, cable trays and fire alarm systems
- Building and laying conduit
- Digging trenches
- Operating power tools, equipment, and measuring and testing devices
- Completing safety documentation
- Maintaining cleanliness of the work site

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Commercial construction: 2 years (preferred)
- electrical: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver's License (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 50% (preferred)

Work Location: On the road
