**Salary**: $22 per hour, with a $1000 bonus to be paid after 8 weeks
**Job Summary**:
Junk Ninja is a fast-growing junk removal company, and we are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. The Driver will be responsible for safely operating our company vehicles, to transport junk and debris from residential and commercial locations to appropriate disposal sites. The Driver will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle, and adhering to all company policies and procedures.
**Responsibilities**:
- Safely operate company vehicles, including trucks and trailers, in compliance with all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies
- Load, transport, and unload junk and debris from residential and commercial locations to appropriate disposal sites
- Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, professional, and responsive to customer inquiries and requests
- Communicate effectively with team members and dispatch to ensure efficient scheduling and completion of tasks
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including checking oil, fuel, brakes, and other vehicle components, and reporting any issues or repairs needed
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle, including the removal of debris and junk after each job
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of junk and debris
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities as required by the company
**Qualifications**:
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience, preferably with experience in hauling or junk removal
- Ability to safely operate and maneuver large vehicles, including trucks and trailers
- Strong customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with customers
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and follow instructions and directions effectively
- Strong time management and organizational skills to ensure efficient scheduling and completion of tasks
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting and loading/unloading of junk and debris
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ability to perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt
