The Delivery Driver is responsible for ensuring that excellent customer service is provided as orders are promptly and safely delivered to various locations throughout a designated area. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction. **We Provide**: - Fun and positive work environment - Opportunity for personal and professional growth - Competitive wage; shared benefits plan after a successful 3-month probation **Main Responsibilities**: - Deliver a variety of assembled and non-assembled office furniture to various locations within a designated area, with a colleague - Follow routes and a time schedule - Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a 3 or a 5-ton truck - Complete daily inspection logs and reports - Follow DOT regulations and safety standards - Collect payments - Occasionally required to assist with the installation and assembly of some products **Qualifications**: - 2-3 years experience driving a large truck (3 or 5-ton) in traffic and on busy streets, with both manual and automatic transmissions - Clean, professional appearance and exceptional customer service skills - Ability to consistently carry 75lbs unassisted and willing to do stair carries - Valid Driver’s License with a clean Driver’s Abstract Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 4:30pm. Occasional Saturday shifts required **Rate: $22 per hour** **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: $22.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Dental care - Employee assistance program - Extended health care - Life insurance - On-site parking Schedule: - Day shift - Monday to Friday Work Location: One location
