**Tire Technician Job Description**
**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**:
- Install, balance, and repair tires on a variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, and SUVs.
- Conduct thorough inspections of tires to identify wear patterns and recommend necessary services.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to perform tire-related tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding tire maintenance and repair options.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking tire stock levels and placing orders as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of services while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in tire technology.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair preferred.
- Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and equipment used in tire installation and repair.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required (up to 50 pounds).
- Previous experience in a dealership or tire shop is a plus but not mandatory.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to automotive service are beneficial.

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: $17.50-$19.00 per hour
