**Responsibilities**:

- Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice.
- Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments as needed.
- Assisting patients with filling out informational forms.
- Updating patient records and documenting recent treatments and procedures.
- Scheduling follow-up appointments and providing reminders.
- Communicating with medical insurance providers and sending electronic claims and pre-determinations for required treatments.
- Verifying methods of payment and collecting payments.
- Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones, photocopying, scanning documents and computer data entry.

Requirments:

- High school diploma or GED
- Certification in office administration, medical administration or experience in related fields an asset.
- Experience in Maxident an asset but not required. Training will be provided.
- Working general knowledge of general administrative practices.
- Excellent telephone etiquette.
- Exceptional organizational skills

**Salary**: $19.00-$35.00 per hour
