**Roles and Responsibilities**
Lead all plant operations ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality carbon fiber production
Oversee production, maintenance, quality, engineering, and continuous improvement
Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other operational strategies
Direct plant KPIs, budgeting, and capital investments
Support new product scale-up in coordination with R&D and engineering teams
Act as plant liaison with regulators, partners, and the community
Manage talent development, workforce engagement, and compliance
**Job Requirements**
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering (Master’s degree is preferred)
7+ years of plant leadership in manufacturing, ideally carbon fiber or advanced materials
Experience managing production, maintenance, and quality teams
Strong background in high-temp processing or industrial fiber production
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement strategies
Excellent leadership and team development capabilities
Familiarity with ERP/MRP and production scheduling tools
Passion for sustainability and innovative manufacturing is preferred
Experience with regulatory compliance and EH&S systems is preferred
Lack experience managing production, maintenance, or quality teams
Do not have a background in high-temp processing or industrial fiber production
Are unfamiliar with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement tools
Struggle to lead and develop cross-functional teams
Have no experience with ERP/MRP or production scheduling systems
Do not hold a degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering
Lack understanding of EH&S or regulatory compliance
Are not passionate about sustainable, innovative manufacturing
Require visa sponsorship
Have a pattern of job hopping
Pay: $120,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
