Vanderwerf’s Your Independent Grocer is looking for a motivated and reliable team member to join our store

Position Details:
Hours: 40 hours per week

Availability: Must have full open availability between 7:00am - 9:00pm, 7 days a week

Location: 1244 Goderich Street, Port Elgin, Ontario

What You’ll Learn & Do:
Operate as a cashier with accuracy and efficiency

Provide outstanding customer service and support on the sales floor

Gain experience in cash office procedures and responsibilities

Contribute to a positive team environment and assist in other areas as needed

- Provide great customer service by ensuring the store shelves are stocked and by responding to customer needs
- Maintain and stock product displays and shelves that meet company standards
- Ensure accurate product scanning and identify inventory needs and assist with ordering
- Setup company-directed promotions and programs
- Keep department areas neat and ensure health and safety standards
