Currently, we are looking for a full time (40 hours a week) Electronic Repair Technician/Technologist to join our RBH team. The Technician is responsible to work on every step of the manufacturing process, from design to production. They must identify possible improvements in product design and the assembly & Test line processes. You will be responsible in providing technical support and guidance to the manufacturing team on day-to-day activities. You possess in depth knowledge of basic electronic circuits, power management circuits, protection circuits, integrated circuits, etc.

**Main Job Responsibilities**:

- Reads blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures; Interprets manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams, and repairs equipment, utilizing knowledge of electronics and using standard test instruments and hand tools.
- Uses solid troubleshooting skills to isolate and fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software.
- completes necessary repairs and replacements as needed; exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.
- Completes accurate and detailed service reports for customer and Convergent to allow for accurate invoicing and job cost tracking.
- Keeps up to date and informed on all company products, services and policies.
- Perform inspections, testing, and updating electronic systems, components, equipment, and software and provide design inputs.
- Ability to quickly isolate faulty components and repair the defective circuit.
- Recognizing the way, a circuit may malfunction and develop standard repair procedures.
- Writing specifications, instructions, reports, and handling other required administrative duties.
- Troubleshooting of PCBAs and electronic modules.
- Familiarity in dealing with customer returns (RMA).
- Possesses experience in working with communication protocols like UART, RS232, I2C, USB, RS485 etc.
- Ability to implement and follow quality processes such as root cause analysis, corrective, and preventive actions.
- Familiar with BOMs, schematics, assembly drawings, quality metrics, ECO/ECN process.
- Possesses analytical, logical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and yield outstanding results in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands on experience with DMM. Oscilloscope, signal generator, Power supplies, and hand soldering.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Identifying the strengths and weaknesses of existing manufacturing processes.

**Qualifications and skills required**
- Electronics Technician/Technologist Diploma
- 5+ years field (electronics manufacturing & repair) related experience.
- Strong written, verbal and telephone communication skills.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and other technical diagrams.
- Fine motor skills including soldering, assembly, integration & testing.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to meet schedule deadlines.
- Critical eye for identifying defects
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills - English required.
- Solid organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple service needs simultaneously
- Hardware level experience and operational knowledge, including structure of popular microcontroller products such as Microchip, Atmel, Motorola, Infineon and others
- Experience with on board reading, programming, disassembly and code (firmware) analysis of microcontrollers
- Must be able to work independently and have a reverse engineering mentality
- Expert knowledge and understanding of analog, digital, and microprocessor circuits with minimum 5 years’ experience
- Expertise in understanding analog and digital circuit design

**We Offer**:

- Competitive wage range: $60,000 - $75,000 annual salary

**Work Conditions**:

- Job requires ability to work with a variety of hand and power tools

**Schedule**:

- Monday to Friday. (8:30am to 5:00pm)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
