Maintenance Worker

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- **Perform routine maintenance**:repairing door hinges, locks, doorknobs, securing handrails,
- **Minor plumbing**:repairing toilets, sinks, leaking pipes,Checking furnace/hot water tanks, replacing p-traps, faucets, seats, cartridges, etc.
- **Minor electrical**: rewiring plugs, switches, resetting breakers, installing lights and smoke detectors, etc.
- **Minor renos**: removing flooring, install vinyl plank flooring, patching and painting, some drywall, etc.
- **Key holding**:being responsible for multiple sets of residential keys at a given time
- **On the job problem solving**:

- **Perform preventive maintenance**:

- **Provide excellent customer service**: by addressing tenant or client concerns promptly and professionally.
- **Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities**: including inspections, repairs, and service requests, promptly uploading them to drop box

**Experience**
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various tools and equipment.
- Familiarity with minor plumbing, electrical and renos
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think logically under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members, clients, and vendors professionally.

**Requirements**:

- Valid driver's license and reliable truck
- Clean criminal record
- No visible vulgar tattoos
- No face piercings
- Strong time management skills
- Fluent in english
- LIft 50+ pounds
- Work evenings and weekends
- On call availability

**Other**
- Company uniform required in all settings with tenants or clients
- 3-6 month probation period
- Must sign a do-not compete if fully hired after probation period

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
