Junior Field Technician

**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Installation and servicing of wireless internet to residential and business customers
- Perform all installation functions associated with the addition, modification and removal of all technology equipment
- Signal testing, drilling and running cabling, terminating network Indoor and Outdoor Ethernet cable into RJ-45 ends
- Program and provision CPE (Customer Premise Equipment)
- Accurately complete work orders and process payments
- Comfortable working safely at heights due to extensive ladder work, manlift work, tower climbing and working on roofs
- Available to work overtime and after hours as needed
- Must be able to lift minimum 50lbs
- Establish and maintain relationships with customers in a positive and professional manner

**EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED**:

- Strong computer and technical skills
- Operate power tools skillfully
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written, with a positive approach to customer service
- Well organized with good time management skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and adapt to new technology/industry changes
- Able to work independently and as part of a team

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- High school diploma
- Post-secondary education preferred
- Safety Certifications: Working at Heights, Elevated Work Platforms
- A valid G-class driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
- Must be willing to provide Criminal Reference Check upon conditional offer

**PPE REQUIREMENTS**:

- Safety shoes
- Hard hat

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
