**Jr. Real Estate Lawyer**

Trillium Park Homes is a real estate development company with a growing portfolio of residential, multi-family, commercial and mixed use projects in Canada and the United States.

We are currently looking for a Junior Real Estate Lawyer to join our team. This is a ground floor opportunity with an experienced executive team that is building a $2 billion portfolio in the next 3 years.

**Overview**:
Working with the Executive Management team, you will be responsible for:

- Preparing and executing sales agreements with for consumer and bulk buyers
- Reviewing / preparing agreements for various construction and trade contractors, joint venture partners and others
- Monitor all sales files to ensure milestones are met, taking appropriate action when needed
- Prepare and conduct closings for all sales
- Prepare assignments as needed
- Liaise with external corporate counsel on litigation and other items as needed
- Maintain corporate resolutions, minute books and related corporate affairs tasks
- The position is remote based with regular in person team sessions in the Vaughan area Reporting: This position will report directly to the CEO

**Requirements**:

- 1-2 years articling experience in the real estate industry with a medium to large law firm or real estate development company
- LLB from an Ontario university
- Licensed to practice in Ontario and Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
- Experience preparing all manner of real estate documents, particularly sales contracts, LOIs, joint venture agreements, finance agreements and vendor agreements for trades
- Familiar with TeraView, OnLand, title insurance, property insurance, legal forms databases and case researching.
- Experience in assisting in the preparation of litigation files is a bonus

**Skills and Attributes**
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Professional, punctual and excellent communication skills, both written and oral;
- Ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines while handling a high volume of files;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Willingness to take initiative and ability to work independently.
- Working knowledge of Teraview
- Demonstrated experience and effectiveness in building, developing and engaging individuals and teams to achieve a high level of continuous performance.
- Experience in strategic planning and execution

**Salary**: $85,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
