**Please note that this is a casual position for approximately 8-15 hours per week.**

The Country's Best Yogurt (TCBY) is a new full-serve frozen yogurt store located in Maple Ridge. We are looking for team members who have an eagerness to learn, show enthusiasm in their work, and have a positive, friendly attitude towards all new customers and returning patrons. Seeking motivated person(s) to work flexible hours. Shifts will range from 4 to 8 hours in length.

**Current Shifts are as follows**:
**Opening: 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm (Wed to Fri) or 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm (Sat & Sun)**

**Closing: 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm (Sat & Sun)**

**Please note, shift length and hours may change during winter and summer hours**

Team Members will be responsible for assisting customers and accepting payment. They must follow food safety regulations and work to keep the store clean and attractive.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Be a brand ambassador and have a genuine love for our product and willingness to step out of the store, interact with customers, and enthusiastically offer product samples to drive sales on a daily basis.**:

- **Provide a positive, friendly and helpful customer service approach with all transactions.**:

- Utilize suggestive selling techniques and sampling procedures.
- Prepare and display all products according to company standards and policies in order to provide a positive and inviting image to customers.
- Assist with preparing bulk orders for a variety of events.
- Follow all procedures and record-keeping requirements designed to control waste.
- Receive inventories, and rotate product and supplies in an efficient manner.
- **Maintain store cleanliness as outlined in company policy.**:

- **Open and close the store in accordance with company policy.**:

- **Be reliable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.**:

- Follow company policy and exercise the highest level of professional care in cash handling responsibilities.
- Disassembly/assembly and cleaning of machines.
- Self motivated.

**Essential Job Requirements/Functions**:

- **Ability to work well with team members, take direction from Store Manager, and be open to receiving feedback and willing to make appropriate changes.**:

- Experience working with customers.
- **Maintain a positive attitude.**:

- Product tasting to ensure quality of standards are met.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 30 pounds frequently.
- Constant standing/walking for up to eight hours (most shifts are 4-5 hours in length)
- Frequent bending and reaching above shoulder height.
- Food Safe Certificate (Not necessarily required but a valuable asset)
- **This job requires you to work independently and be self motivated**
