Organics Labourer

Location: Loraas Organics Reports to: Organics Supervisor Compensation: Hourly Job type: Full Time, Temporary We are Saskatchewan’s leader in waste transfer and recycling services. For more than 55 years, we’ve been building a reputation of excellence. **As a condition of employment, all new employees to safety sensitive positions must successfully pass a substance test within a two week period of their hiring date.** **Duties**: - A variety of labour and light equipment operation duties, including grounds maintenance. - Adhere to all safety procedures and policies according to company Safety Manual and OH&S Regulations. - Perform daily safety and maintenance checks and report any issues or items of concern found. - Clean equipment as scheduled or required. - Directing traffic in and around the material delivery areas. - Other duties and projects as assigned. **Qualifications**: - Must be in good physical condition. - Ability to multi-task. - Ability to work with little or no supervision. - Ability to work in a team environment. - Experience operating equipment is considered an asset. - Minimum valid Class 5 driver’s license with acceptable abstract required. - **A criminal record check is required.** **What’s in it for you?** - A team environment that embraces a "work hard, play harder" culture. - A compensation package that is competitive. - Well-maintained equipment and facilities. - Opportunities for learning, advancement, personal growth, and challenge.
