Overview:
This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast growing, well established medical device industry leader as a District Manager for Aortic Intervention in our Vascular Division at Cook Canada. The District Manager's primary duty is to sell medical devices and related equipment and services to physicians, hospitals, and outpatient facilities by establishing relationships with these health care providers. The District Manager will be customarily and regularly away from Cook's place of business in performing job functions and duties.

The Aortic Intervention division of Cook Medical focuses on the Endovascular treatment solutions for abdominal and thoracic aortic disease.Product line includes endovascular grafts and accessory devices (wire guides, catheters, dilators, introducers, and molding balloons) to support implant procedures.

**Responsibilities**:
**NOTE: This is a field sales position, not a management role**
- Develop new business and expand existing business
- Develop, maintain and execute an annual business plan for the industry
- Meet and exceed projected sales goals
- Participate in regional sales exhibits as required
- Maintain timely expense reports
- Keep current on the Canadian Health Care environment
- Educate customers through conversations, presentations/in-services, case support and literature
- Comply with all company policies
- Must travel overnight as required - 25 - 40%

Qualifications:
**Desired Skills and Experience**
- 2-3 years’ experience in competitive technical sales, medical product sales or in a hospital environment
- Appropriate clinical post-secondary education (RT, RN) or applicable business degree
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft software, e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
- Confident, energetic, positive, self-starter and results-driven
- Strengthen existing relationships by providing on-going support and the ability to create new relationships
- Highly effective communicator and responds quickly to customer needs
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (and French as well if bilingual)
- Ability to analyze sales data, develop and implement effective action plans to achieve goals
- Ability to work independently but within a team
