**We are looking for Cable Trencher Plow/General Labourer.**

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Perform various manual labour tasks related to telecommunication construction;
- Experience operating a cable trencher/Plow.
- Use rakes, shovels, and wheelbarrows
- Operate various hand tools;
- Operate battery/gas powered or pneumatic equipment, such as a chainsaw;
- Operate small excavating equipment
- Complete accurately all work reports;
- Regularly perform Health & Safety inspection of equipment and tools;
- Maintain clean and safe work sites and vehicles;
- Perform other duties as assigned by Manager or Foreman;
Knowledge and Skills:

- Strong manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail;
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions;
- Ability to work with professionalism, interact politely with customers and the public, and demonstrate excellent work ethic;
- Ability to work in a physically demanding atmosphere, must be able to frequently lift 50+ lbs;
- Ability to operate various small equipment in a safe manner;
- Must be a self-disciplined, motivated, organized, and a team player;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines;
**Experience**:

- General civil construction experience;
- Experience operating excavating equipment (e.g. mini backhoe, excavator, cable trencher/plow);
- Telecommunications infrastructure experience is an asset;
- Directional Drilling crew experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $24.85 per hour
