Hiring for the St. Catharines location. Training will be between Niagara Falls, St. Catharines and Niagara-on-the-Lake locations.
We are looking for an individual to join our ambitious team, with requirements including retail sales, customer service skills, and most of all, the ability to finish complex sales orders from beginning to end. Individuals should have the ability to think ahead, multi-task, retain information, troubleshoot, and think on their feet in a busy work environment.
As a company, we strive to provide an experience for customers unlike no other. Customers who purchase prescription eyewear from us, or who come for their bi-annual eye exam, want an experience that will create a lasting impression.
**Your job will consist of**:
1) Greeting customers and advising them on picking the right pair of eyeglasses.
2) Quote the customer, as well as create a sales order on the computer.
3) Collect insurance information, and copy it into Chrome to process the insurance claim. Then, file the paperwork appropriately.
4) While the eyeglasses are in production, you must follow up on certain aspects of the sales order, such as insurance accounts receivable, or supplier orders.
5) Complete the sales order by notifying patient their eyewear is ready, and complete any outstanding work associated with the order prior to patient pick up.
6) Answer phone calls, book eye examinations, and other reception duties.
*_Applicants must have the ability to learn quickly, in the optical industry which never stops teaching. Strong communication skills required, and the ability to describe products in a simple yet effective way._

**Job Types**: Full-time, Commission
Pay: $17.50-$19.00 per hour
