**Job brief**

HTEC currently has an exciting new role for an experienced CAD Drafter. This position will work alongside Engineers in the design and production of drawings for various Hydrogen production and distribution projects.

**Responsibilities**:
This role will be responsible for providing drafting support for hydrogen stations and electrolysers. Tasks will include:

- Collaborating with the engineering team to perform a variety of drafting and design assignments in connection with process, P&ID, electrical and mechanical layout drawings
- Creating 3D models from conceptual through fabrication phases of a project
- Maintaining and development of the CAD database
- Ensure compliance with company CAD standards and styles
- Prepare material and equipment specification notes
- Continual improvement of design and drafting process to improve efficiency

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma in Engineering Design and Drafting or equivalent from a recognized institution
- Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience within a CAD drafting role, preferably in industrial projects
- Strong understanding of AutoCAD, Solidworks and SolidWorks PDM
- Working knowledge of the manufacturing process
- Strong computer literacy, knowledge of Microsoft office, Word, Excel.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Occasional ability to travel to job sites for field work, surveying, and support
