Production Assistant Lead Hand- Fish Processing Facility

Pacific Salmon Industries Inc. needs leaders like you. Join Pacific Salmon Industries Inc. as the Assistant Lead Hand for our seafood processing facility, located in Surrey, British Columbia. We are looking for team-oriented player to shape the culture of our current and future employees by promoting the safest, most efficient and lowest-cost production. Some of the interesting challenges that will help develop your leadership skills will be managing a changing workforce and working with a team to develop new products.

As the Assistant Lead Hand, you will also help to plan, organize and direct plant operations to ensure positive results are delivered in production performance (cost, quality, efficiency, safety), Customer satisfaction (compliance to specifications, delivery performance), and to promote a healthy culture that strives for continuous improvement and operational flexibility.

**Required Qualifications, Experience and Skills**
- 2-5 years of experience in the seafood industry or a supervisory/leadership role.
- A deep sense of responsibility and care for the work environment.
- Food industry background with knowledge of current health & safety legislations would be an asset.
- Good problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong Leadership, interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) with a proven ability to communicate in an ESL work environment.
- Ability to interact with all levels of business.
- Willingness to learn from leadership and take guidance while also contributing ideas for improvement.
- Excellent planning, analytical & organizational skills.
- Able to provide direction and coaching
- Able to move between day shift and night shift on a regular rotation or as required

Pay: From $22.08 per hour
