We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Grade 12 Math Tutor to join our team and provide in-person tutoring sessions to our students. As a Math Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons, helping students develop a deep understanding of Grade 12 math concepts, and preparing them for exams.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct in-person tutoring sessions for Grade 12 math students.
- Develop customized lesson plans and teaching materials based on students' individual learning needs.
- Provide clear explanations of complex math concepts and solve practice problems with students.
- Monitor student progress, identify areas for improvement, and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
- Prepare students for Grade 12 math exams, including providing exam preparation tips and strategies.
- Communicate regularly with students and parents to provide updates on progress and discuss any concerns.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a math tutor or teacher, with a proven track record of helping students achieve academic success.
- Strong knowledge of the Grade 12 math curriculum and ability to teach a range of topics, including but not limited to advanced functions, calculus, algebra, geometry, vectors, and data management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed academically.
- Availability to conduct **in-person** at our Newmarket location.

**Qualifications**:

- At least a bachelor's degree in Education, Languages, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.74-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 10 per week
