It is distinguished in particular by a real estate portfolio of more than 40 million square feet, including several jewels of the Quebec urban landscape: the Sun Life building, the CIBC Tower, the Place Victoria tower as well as the Ontario with Allstate Corporate center in Toronto and 100 O’Connor in Ottawa. **JOIN A TEAM OF PROFESSIONALS AND WORK IN A HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT** **Under the responsibility of the Senior Directorofoperations, the Building Operator manages effectively all activities relating to the buildings assigned to him/ her.** - Overseeing preventative maintenance and unscheduled repairs of HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, lighting, electrical, elevating devices and lite safety systems. - Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures, performing responsibilities effectively as outlined in the job description. - Management of energy and utility consumption. - Carry out minor maintenance requirements on a scheduled or demand basis including, but not limited to filter replacement, lamp replacement. - Maintain required logs and meter readings. - Foster good tenant relations and always ensure a clean and neat appearance. - Assist tenants in obtaining required services expected from a Class "A" Property Management company. - Refer all expenditures to Property Manager for approval unless arranged otherwise. - Conduct environmental assessments and reporting. - Implementing the corporate occupational health and safety program. - Management of waste, recycling and hazardous materials. - Oversee computerized control systems. - Tenant improvement construction management. - Ensure sound curtain wall, structural and roof maintenance. - Conduct insurance and risk management inspections, remedial actions and reporting. - Coordinate security access for tenants. - Liaise with regulatory or civic authorities having jurisdiction. - Provide technical or administrative advice to internal and external clients. - Supervise cleaning staff. - Remain current and up to date with new industry practices. legislative changes and new technologies. - This position requires to be "on call" and back up to team members for emergency alter hours, vacation coverage of other sites in other portfolio’s. - Other assigned dulies. **Qualifications** - Have at least a high school leaving diploma.
