Concrete Placing Labourers

Construction trades helpers and labourers assist skilled tradespersons and perform laboring activities at construction sites. Concrete Labourer position which would be primarily raking, shoveling, and vibrating concrete.

**General Job Duties & Responsibilities**
- Loading/unloading equipment, and transport construction materials.
- Direct placement of concrete rake, shovel, and vibrator.
- Moving pump hoses.
- Operate power vibrators to compact concrete.
- Report to Concrete Foreman of damaged, poorly performing tools and equipment.
- Maintain and use proper techniques for rake, shovel, and vibrate.
- Keeping work area clean and disposing of our own garbage properly on the job site.
- **General Requirements**:

- Punctual and reliable.
- Self motivated.
- Physically apt to perform job duties such as handle heavy loads, bending, crouching and kneeling.
- Attend meetings scheduled by management.
- Ability to work as a team and communicate with co-workers.
- Willingness to learn general construction practices.
- Willingness to work overtime and out of town if required.
- Positive attitude towards safety and quality workmanship.
- Ability to understand and execute instructions from Axiom Site manager.
- Position with valid driver’s license would be an asset but not required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 44 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

- French not required

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

- Weekends as needed
