At Legends Soccer Academy Inc., we offer week-long summer camps designed to inspire a love for the game and help kids develop their soccer skills. Our camps are dynamic, fun, and focused on creating a positive, inclusive experience for all participants.

We welcome players of all skill levels—from grassroots beginners to those interested in skill development and freestyle soccer. Beyond building soccer skills, our camps are a place for kids to make new friends, practice sportsmanship and have fun.

**Position Overview**:
Legends Soccer Academy Inc. is seeking enthusiastic and energetic soccer players to join our team as Camp Counsellors for summer 2025.

We’re searching for high-energy, passionate individuals who love the game and enjoy working with kids. If you think you’d be a great fit, we’d love to hear from you

As a Legends Counsellor/Coach, you will:

- Lead and supervise groups of children aged 6-13 in daily soccer activities and games;
- Plan and deliver session plans tailored to various skill levels (drill banks provided);
- Teach fundamental soccer skills: dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork;
- Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all campers;
- Participate actively in games, drills, and daily camp activities;
- Collaborate with fellow counsellors and camp staff;
- Provide positive reinforcement, encouragement and feedback to help campers grow;
- Complete short written review cards for each camper by week’s end;
- Take daily attendance and ensure accurate camper headcounts; and
- Engage and coordinate with parents/guardians during drop-off and pick-up times;
**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Have experience and confidence playing soccer, with a solid understanding of the game’s fundamentals;
- Have experience working with children;
- Have experience coaching or leading children in recreational or educational settings (preferred but not required);
- Have a valid First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain);
- Have completed or be willing to complete the Ontario Soccer Coaching Course: _Learn to Train _(Assistance can be provided)
- Online components must be completed before camp; and
- The in-person portion will be provided during staff training.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Be able to work well in a team environment;
- Have an enthusiastic, energetic, and positive attitude;
- Be reliable and punctual;
- Have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle;
- Pass a police issued vulnerable sector check; and
- Be at least 18 years old.

**Camp Details**:
**Camp Hours**:9:00 AM to 3:00 PM (with the possibility of late pickup extending until 3:30 pm).

**Coach Schedule**:8:30 AM to 3:30 PM (to help with setup and wrap-up).

We’re hiring 2-3 Camp Counsellors/Coaches in each location.

**What We’re Offering**:
**3-Week Contract**: We’re hiring coaches for three separate one-week summer camps, in Ottawa, Ontario. High-performing coaches will have the opportunity to return for future summers.

Camp 1: July 21 - 25, 2025

Camp 2: August 11 - 15, 2025

Camp 3: August 18 - 22, 2025

Camps are at different locations.

**Compensation**:

- $600 per week; and
- Opportunities to earn performance-based bonuses.
